5th Grade and 4th Grade History Class Nov.17
The students have been doing a great job writing in their assignment books and planning with it. They also have been doing a good job getting it signed on a daily basis.
They've improved their study habits over the past couple weeks and are motivated to get their work done at school, which means less messing around in class and better use of time.
The 5th grade has a Spelling Test Tuesday, a penmanship Test Wednesday, a language test and Math Thursday, and graded Bible verse on Friday. We also have Chapel this Friday.

We also practice math on the computer on Thursdays.
Welcome to a New School year 2008-2009Welcome to a new school year. I will try this year to put blogs on the GI Christian website on a regular basis. This is my first attempt. I am really excited about the student's new assignment book this year. I think this will be a good organizational tool for them. We will do more writing this year and focus on quality writing in penmanship and all other subjects. Mrs. Steele will be teaching Physical Education three times a week this year and Mrs. Alhman will continue with music. 5th and 6th Grade News 4/25/08Our Achievement testing begins on Monday and we will be taking the tests in the morning. Students should get good rest each night and eat a good breakfast before school in order to do their best on these tests. We are running and doing aerobics in PE. We'll do this until the end of the year. We'll also do activities to get us ready for Field Day. 5th & 6th Grade News 5/14/08We have been enjoying pie day Fridays for the past quarter of the year. We will finish the year with a pie day Thursday,May 22nd,2008, by going to Tommy's Restaurant and ordering from their large pie selection. Let me know if you would like your child not to attend. It is my treat and we will just get pie. We will go in the afternoon after we have finished our tests. We'll come back and clean out the desks, the room, and the hall. I can't believe how quickly the year has passed. |
