A Hundred Years from Now
My wife has a plaque up on the wall of our home that she was given when she taught preschool. Sometimes I read it for a little inspiration when I need a boost.
A Hundred Years From Now
It will not matter what my bank account was,
The sort of house I lived in,
Or the kind of car I drove...
But the world may be different because
I was important in the life of a child!
Because not much will matter a hundred years from now except how much we've loved God and our fellow man, I want to especially thank our teachers for doing such an awesome job. Their efforts will still be making a difference through your children's children a hundred years from now and that's something I am personally thankful for.
